Predictors of the development of functional disorders of the digestive system in children
Abstract
The article presents the results of a retrospective study of case histories of 89 children from 2 months to 16 years old with pathology of the gastrointestinal tract. Predictors of the development of such disorders as functional dyspepsia, functional constipation and protein energy deficiency have been identified. Relationships of intrauterine and postnatal pathology with the development of functional gastrointestinal disorders in older age are considered, their pathophysiological mechanisms are noted. The main indicators by which the authors tracked the probability of development of these diseases are gestational age, type of feeding, the run of pregnancy and labor, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract of the parents of the child, weight height indicators in the neonatal period.
