Abstract

Immunotherapy is increasingly used in the treatment of malignant neoplasms. The most promising immunotherapy in the field of hematological oncology is therapy with T-cells bearing chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) on their surface, which has shown tremendous success in the treatment of refractory forms of B-lymphoblastic leukemia, B-cell lymphoma and multiple myeloma in both children and adults. However, many unresolved issues remain regarding the limited effectiveness of CAR-T cell therapy and associated side effects. The review provides brief current data on CAR-T cell products that have already been approved by regulators in different countries, as well as the main trends in the development of CAR-T products.
